Bristol City continue to struggle on the pitch, and off it the situation looks no better. Yesterday the club reported a record loss of 14. 4m, a huge increase on last years accounts which themselves showed losses of 9. The amount owed to majority shareholder Stephen Lansdown has risen from 24. 8m are dwarfed by a wage bill which has risen to 18. In short, the club continues to spend way beyond its means.
